Thank you and the Harrington Farm Staff for the wonderful service provided to us during our wedding reception last month. Everything down to the last detail- food, drinks, ambience and service-was as we had pictured it to be and more. We have received endless compliments about how beautiful and elegant the setting was and how unbelievable the food was!

Guests stated that they had never had food that delicious at a wedding. Chad’s sirloin was cooked to perfection and I loved the tofu dish Wendy made for me.

I wanted to commend in particular our head waitress Jessica for the exemplary service she provided. She was so thoughtful and attentive throughout the evening, constantly-without being annoying- checking with us both regarding food and drinks, making sure we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. She was incredible. Please extend our thanks to her, especially for bustling my impossible dress when no one else could!

We could not have asked for a finer wedding. We are partial to establishments that share our love for the environment and support of local farmers. We fell in love with Harrington Farm the minute we drove up the road and saw the windmills and the garden last summer.

Christina’s suggestion to light the fire only added to the perfect ambience. It blended so nicely with the flickering candles on the table and the mantel it was very romantic indeed.

The food was simply outstanding. Our guests were impressed. (We all really enjoy good food.) Many of the guests commented on how fine the food was in flavor, variety and presentation.The raw bar was unbelievable, as were the seafood skewers, crepes, and the beef which also received many accolades. Frankly there was nothing which was not simply delicious. Far too often “wedding food” is mediocre, and this was certainly not the case at our wedding.

The staff truly worked to make a smooth evening happen. Traci, John and Christina, in particular were outstanding. (Given the transportation we hired had showed up late bringing the groom and the majority of the guests) Traci was so supportive and calming in what would have been chaotic and confusing ceremony. Each staff member was courteous swift and subtle. When suggestions or reminders needed to be made they were done with great tact and usefulness. Christina was a great help to Steven and I. She was right on time with plates of food and cake. We never would have gotten the chance to eat otherwise.

Steven and I were so pleased with our wedding. Thank you all for your professionalism tact and kindness. I knew from the moment I met Traci that we were in very knowledgeable and capable hands, which was just what we wanted. I hope you will share this letter with Traci and the rest of the staff. Despite our moving to Illinois we would live the opportunity to see you again.
